Wonderfully chunky little decorative bowl made in Sweden in the mid century. Bowl retains the original sticker of Jie Verkstad (workshop). No damage noted - the glaze is on the inside and outside of the bowl and is intentionally bumpy. Unique item! About 5.25 inches across and 2 inches high. Bowl weighs a pound in spite of its size because it's so thick.
JIE Keramik was established in Gantofta Sweden in 1942 by John Ewert “Jie” Johnson and stopped production in 1992.
